My name is Tracy Bland and I am a qualified bookkeeper certified and licenced to practice by the institute of certified bookkeepers. I am based in Brigg in north Lincolnshire.
Prior to setting up Brigg Bookkeeping Ltd, I worked in various finance roles for 25 years. I have very diverse experience across a variety of businesses both service and manufacturing. This extensive experience has given me exposure to many different industries and company structures all over the UK. I have worked with amazing mentors, colleagues, and customers and been able to support and develop others too. After 25 years of working in industry I decided to branch out on my own and set up my own practice. I did take a lot of exams early in my career but I decided that I needed to update my knowledge and start studying again so in 2023 I obtained my ICB Bookkeeping licence and practice licence
Above all else I pride myself in being approachable and friendly. I am professional, reliable and motivated. I really enjoy all things finance and I am a complete spreadsheet geek! I do understand that not everyone shares my passion for finance, so with my flexible packages I can tailor support to meet your individual business needs freeing up your time to concentrate on running your business.
Qualifications
I have recently completed the ICB level 3 exams and achieved the highest grade (distinction with honours). I was nominated as student of the year 2023. I am currently studying the level 4 exams to be able to provide more services to my clients. Providing the best service is extremely important to me and I will always seek to develop myself by continuing my learning. I passed the management accounting exams (CIMA) in 2008.
Supervision
As I am providing a financial service, I am legally required to have a supervising body in accordance with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (MLR). As an Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) member I am supervised and have access to various experts to support me supporting my clients. It also gives me a vast network of industry experts.
